Turkey Tail
Host Defense · Trametes versicolor
The most-studied medicinal mushroom in oncology.
Turkey Tail is a common woodland mushroom and the source of two well-studied immune compounds: PSK (Krestin) and PSP. PSK has been used as an adjuvant alongside chemotherapy in Japan since the 1980s.
Turkey Tail is an immune modulator, not an antioxidant, so it does not carry the antioxidant–chemo concern that some supplements do. In large Japanese randomized trials, PSK given alongside chemotherapy after surgery for stomach and colorectal cancer was associated with longer disease-free and overall survival. Whole-mushroom capsules (like Host Defense) are not identical to the concentrated PSK extract used in those trials, so the strongest survival evidence is specifically for PSK.
- Activates natural killer cells and cytotoxic T-cells
- Studied as an adjuvant with chemo for gastric & colorectal cancer
- In meta-analysis, reduced nausea/vomiting and leukopenia vs. chemo alone
- Available as capsules and a dual-extracted tincture
Talk to your oncologistExcellent safety record in trials. Because it activates the immune system, it should be discussed with your oncologist before use during checkpoint-inhibitor immunotherapy.

Methyl B-Complex
Quicksilver Scientific
Active B vitamins for energy, nerves, and methylation.
All eight B vitamins in their pre-activated (methylated) forms, including methylfolate and methyl-B12, in a liposomal liquid for easier absorption.
B12 and folate deficiencies are common during treatment, when appetite and absorption falter. The B vitamins support cellular energy, healthy nerves, and the methylation cycle that underlies DNA repair. This product also covers the standalone B12 some protocols call for.
- Methylated, body-ready forms (no MTHFR conversion needed)
- Supports energy and nervous-system health
- Liposomal delivery for absorption when digestion is off
Talk to your oncologistFolate can interfere with methotrexate-based chemotherapy, and high-dose B6 can aggravate neuropathy. Clear any B-vitamin with your oncologist first.

Glutathione
Quicksilver Scientific · Liposomal
The body's master antioxidant (with an important caveat).
Glutathione is the body's primary internal antioxidant and a central molecule in the liver's detoxification pathways. The liposomal form is built to survive digestion.
In recovery windows (between cycles or after treatment ends), glutathione supports the liver's clearance of metabolites and everyday toxins. Intravenous glutathione has also been studied for reducing specific chemo side effects like cisplatin nerve and kidney toxicity, under medical supervision.
- Supports liver (Phase II) detoxification
- Replenishes the body's main antioxidant reserve
- Studied (IV form) for reducing some platinum-chemo side effects
Talk to your oncologistImportant: antioxidants taken on the same days as chemotherapy or radiation may blunt treatments that work by oxidative stress. One 2024 breast-cancer analysis linked glutathione use during chemo to higher recurrence. Do not take antioxidant supplements during active cytotoxic treatment without explicit oncologist approval and timing guidance.

Ultra Binder
Quicksilver Scientific
A broad-spectrum binder to help carry waste out.
A blend of gut-level binders (activated charcoal, clays, zeolite, chitosan, and modified citrus pectin) that act inside the intestine and are not absorbed into the body.
The gut is an exit route. Binders can catch toxins and metabolites that the liver dumps into bile, so they leave the body instead of being reabsorbed. Modified citrus pectin (one ingredient) is separately studied for its effects on galectin-3, a protein involved in cancer spread.
- Catches toxins in the gut so they aren't reabsorbed
- Includes modified citrus pectin (PectaSol-style)
- Comes in a shellfish-free 'Sensitive' version
Talk to your oncologistCritical timing rule: binders are non-selective and will also bind medications. Take at least 2 hours away from all oral drugs and supplements, and tell your oncologist and pharmacist you're using it. Contains shellfish-derived chitosan unless you choose the Sensitive formula.

Trace Minerals
ConcenTrace · ionic minerals
Seventy-plus minerals the body runs on.
A concentrated liquid of more than 70 ionic trace minerals and electrolytes, drawn from Great Salt Lake brine: magnesium, potassium, chloride, zinc, selenium and many more in micro amounts.
Treatment can quietly deplete minerals through nausea, diarrhea, poor appetite, and kidney effects. Trace minerals are cofactors for the enzymes that run immunity, energy, and DNA repair. Selenium and zinc are among the most important.
- Broad-spectrum mineral replacement in a few drops
- Supports immune and enzyme function
- Easy to add to water when eating is hard
Talk to your oncologistIf you have reduced kidney function or are on cisplatin, your potassium and magnesium are watched closely. Check dosing with your care team.

40,000 Volts!
Trace Minerals · electrolytes
Whole-spectrum electrolytes for hydration.
A liquid electrolyte concentrate that adds potassium and sodium to the ionic trace-mineral base: magnesium, chloride, potassium and more, by the teaspoon.
Vomiting, diarrhea, and low intake make electrolyte loss one of the most common problems in treatment. A whole-spectrum electrolyte helps maintain the potassium, magnesium and sodium balance that keeps energy, muscles, and heart rhythm steady.
- Replaces electrolytes lost to treatment side effects
- Whole-spectrum, not just isolated salts
- Stir into water or juice
Talk to your oncologistHigh in potassium and magnesium. Use with caution and medical input if your kidney function is reduced or you take potassium-sparing medications.

Magnesium
Quicksilver Scientific
For regularity, calm, and hundreds of enzymes.
Quicksilver offers a magnesium hydroxide form that gently supports bowel regularity, and a brain-targeted L-threonate form for sleep and cognition.
Magnesium is depleted by several chemotherapies (cisplatin especially) and is a cofactor in over 300 reactions. The hydroxide form helps with the constipation that pain medicine and anti-nausea drugs often cause; the L-threonate form is studied for sleep and 'chemo brain'.
- Replaces magnesium depleted by treatment
- Hydroxide form supports gentle regularity
- L-threonate form supports sleep and clarity
Talk to your oncologistMagnesium needs careful dosing if kidney function is reduced. Start low to find the right amount for bowel comfort.

Fulvic Mineral Complex
Fulvic / humic minerals
Earth-derived minerals and carbon compounds.
Fulvic and humic acids are carbon-rich compounds formed as plants break down over time (the active part of shilajit). They are sold as mineral-rich drops or capsules.
In the lab, fulvic acid shows antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity and can help shuttle minerals into cells. It is a traditional tonic; human cancer studies don't yet exist, so we hold this one honestly as promising rather than proven.
- Mineral-rich, may aid mineral uptake
- Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity in lab studies
Talk to your oncologistQuality varies widely: fulvic/shilajit products can carry heavy-metal contamination. Choose brands with third-party testing, and clear it with your oncologist.

Flor·Essence
Flora · herbal tea blend
A traditional gentle-cleansing herbal tea.
An eight-herb tea in the Essiac tradition (burdock, sheep sorrel, slippery elm, rhubarb and others), used historically as a gentle whole-body cleansing tonic. A warm daily ritual to help the body unwind, not a cancer treatment.
The herbs are valued in traditional herbalism for supporting digestion, regularity, and liver and lymph function. We are deliberately clear here: there is no controlled human evidence that this tea treats cancer, and the NCI says as much. It belongs in the comfort-and-ritual category.
- Warm daily ritual; supports digestion and regularity (traditional use)
- Caffeine-free herbal blend
Talk to your oncologistContains red clover (mild plant-estrogen); discuss with your oncologist if you have a hormone-sensitive cancer. No proven anticancer effect.
